VIDEO: Race, Politics and Immigration

Last year on May Day, just ahead of the national mobilization for immigrant rights, I worked with our multimedia specialist Jorge Rivas to create this short documentary looking at the relationship between U.S. racism and U.S. immigration policy. Given today’s demonstrations in LA, NYC and many other cities across the country, I thought it was worth reposting here. Check it out (with headphones or external speakers if you have them - the sound’s a bit low in parts).
