9/11: Six Years Later

Today, NYT reminds us:

For the first time in six years, Sept. 11 fell on a Tuesday, the same day the planes flew into the buildings and changed everything.

After 9/11, there were a lot of different opinions about the attacks and varying degrees of fear and frustration. Mos Def and Cornel West discussed 9/11 and Osama bin Laden with Bill Maher on his show Real Time, and they show the race, class, and generational differences that have shaped the many perspectives Americans have about terrorism and what they fear in this country.
