NYPD Officer Charged for Shooting
Police Officer, Rafael Lora, was formally charged with illegally shooting an unarmed man, Fermin Azru, while investigating a car accident in the Bronx. Lora, who was freed on a $50,000 bail, was suspended without pay and stripped of his gun and badge. He pleaded not guilty to first degree manslaughter. NY Times

Anti-Semitic Church Drops Neo-Nazi Symbols
An anti-Semitic church in Alabama run by white supremacists has abandoned its neo-Nazi imagery, such as swastikas, to make its message more palatable. The move is being called an attempt at “sanitized hatred.” MSNBC
