On Wednesday, Michael Chertoff, secretary of Homeland Security along with the Secretaries of Labor and Agriculture proposed rule revisions to help farmers hire foreign workers legally. Turkish Families Killed in German Blaze, Racism May Be Cause
Nine Turkish immigrants-including five children-were killed by a fire in their German apartment building. Finding neo-Nazi graffiti near the Turkish cultural center in the building, officials have not ruled out racial motivations. CNN
