Pentagon Seeks Death Penalty for 9/11 Suspects
The Pentagon announced Monday that it was seeking the death penalty against suspected 9/11 mastermind, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and five other men. The charges are expected to ignite more controversy over the 9/11 commission’s legitimacy and the admissibility of evidence obtained through contested interrogation techniques, such as waterboarding.
