Colorlines Magazine, NABJ Award Finalist

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) announced the finalists for the 2008 Salute to Excellence Awards Competition that honors work from print, television, radio, online, and photojournalism.

Colorlines Magazine is a finalist for an article by Kai Wright on the colorblind attack on health.
“What Your Doctor Won’t See If Conservatives Make Healthcare Colorblind”

Winners will be announced July 26, 2008 at a gala celebration during the UNITY: Journalists of Color convention in Chicago. The event will be hosted by broadcasters Kevin Frazier and Diann Burns.

Kudos to Kai Wright and the Colorlines Magazine for running his article. Kai is such a talented individual. I came to the site to check out another writer, and found Kai's writing on this site also. He is a great friend. We've worked together on projects before. I see a Pulitzer in his future!
