Judge Rejects Suit to Restore Felon Voting Rights
“A federal judge in Nashville has rejected all but one portion of a suit that could have restored the voting rights of thousands of convicted felons in time for the Nov. 4 election. Tennessee is one of only 11 states that do not automatically restore those rights when offenders complete their sentences and probation or parole requirements.” Tennessean.
