Dr. Sanjay Gupta to be Surgeon General

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN’s chief medical correspondent, has been tapped to join the Obama administration as Surgeon General. The Atlanta-based neurosurgeon and son of Indian immigrants has plenty DC experience having served during the Clitnon administration as an adviser to then-First Lady Hillary Clinton.
