[VIDEO] Building Alliances Between Racial Jutice and LGBT Groups

Thousands of LGBT activists are gathering in Denver, CO this weekend at National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s Creating Change conference to reorganize after a devastating blow to civil rights—losing California’s Proposition 8.

In this video, Applied Research Center’s Tammy Johnson and Asian Pacific American Legal Center’s Karin Wang speak on the need for alliance-building between racial justice and LGBTQ advocacy groups to present a unified front against threats like California’s Proposition 8.
