RW Community Action: Demand Governor Rendell Speak Out About Luis Ramirez’s Death
via Presente.org
After they had beaten Luis Ramirez to death, the white teenagers who attacked him sent an ominous message to Luis’ friends:
“Tell your f**king Mexican friends to get the f**k out of Shenandoah or you’ll be f**king laying next to him.”
Just over a week ago, two of Ramirez’s killers were acquitted of all serious charges by an all white jury, with the jury foreman making it clear that justice for Ramirez had no chance in the town of Shenandoah, PA:
“I believe strongly that some of the people on the jury were racist. I believe strongly that some of the people on the jury had their minds made up maybe before the first day of trial…And I believe the four boys that were involved the most are racist. I absolutely do…”
Luis Ramirez’s death is a tragedy and the acquittal of his killers an outrage. If our elected leaders remain silent at times like these, we can expect more stories like Luis’— not just in Shenandoah, but across the country. Please join us in demanding that Governor Rendell speak out about what kind of justice immigrants should expect in his state, and ask your friends and family to do the same.”

"Suppressed" witness to Shenandoah
hate murder of Luis Ramirez speaks out
It now appears that the police, the district attorney and the judge were all complicit in the sham trial in which two racist hoodlums were cleared of all serious charges by an all White jury in the brutal racially motivated killing of Mexican immigrant Luis Ramirez.
The video below shows an interview of one of the most important witnesses to the racially motivated killing which the prosecution, by design, failed to call to the Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania trial. The witness is former Philadelphia police officer Eileen Burke who witnessed and heard the killers yelling racial epithets at Luis Ramirez while beating and kicking him to death.
Eileen Burke also makes some incriminating statements concerning Shenandoah cop Jason Hayes who according to court testimony is the "lover" of bar maid Tammy Piekarsky. Tammy Piekarsky is the mother of killer Brandon Piekarsky whose deed the all White jury decided was only a "simple misdemeanor."
