Avid readers of Vibe Magazine will no doubt be weeping, as the magazine is set to shut down any and all operations
immediately. Vibe Magazine had recently decreased circulation and had cut back work hours for all employees, and it seems
even some money now can't head off the cessation of publication. The magazine began in 1993, started by music biz legend
Quincy Jones, a guy who has worked with everyone from Ray Charles to Michael Jackson, as an alternative to magazines like
Rolling Stone, and had been a very successful magazine. He has stated that he would like to keep
